Re: People that play with FP...

Download the ESO2 friends programme - it runs outside of TAD and updates you when clan members are on. Handy as the friends list on ESO can't cope with the whole clan ...

Re: Fan Patch Ottos

Get to fortress, get 3 t/cs and spam all those free settlers has always been a good route to go. However, I haven't palyed them since new FP and so haven't really worked out the current mosque upgrades and the total change to abus guns yet. Are you looking at 1v1 or 2v2s as the strats will be differ...

I never knew the ALT + F trick - I shall use this going forwards.

Re: What's up with India?

Try a fish boom on a water map. Remember, villages require ... wood. Fishing boats require .... wood. Who chops wood the quickest ... India!! Use Agra defensively to protect t/c and dock or go Karni Mata for eco boost. Send 4 sowar as first card to raid and hopefully you can then eco boom away as th...

Re: Sioux

Send 10 pistoleros for 500 gold, build some axe riders to protect them and go raid. it's still Sioux's best early strat as they have potentially the best age 2 shipment of all there ... The trick is to be permanently agressive, using the speed boost of the WC to keep nipping in and out of their base...

Re: What Do You Think of Ottos Now?

[quote=""jonesk""]What do you guys think of the TP/silk road option. Is it dead and buried now? I am thinking with a 400 wood start this could still be viable, with the trade route income paying for the mosque techs, making an even stronger boom! Also, what do you think of 4 mams...

Re: My Favorite Aztec Strategy

Nice strat idea. I used to send 5 coyotes and build 5 for a mega raiding force, but the use of 5 settlers first does seem a more adaptable strat.

Re: Countering China with France

Build 5 hussar, send 3 hussar card, send 700 gold. Keep vills on food.

If pwning hard keep spamming hussars, but if things are equal then go fortress and spam currs. The area attack of these beauties just eats up early china units ...

Re: Severe Computer Problem(s)

I agree. Sounds more like a hardware than a software issue.

Try a BIOS flash then maybe test your components on another PC (if you can find someone willing) to ensure that hard drive, RAM, processor etc are all okay. Process of elimination, but the most likely culprit is the MOBO ...

Re: Fanpatch 1.1 Discussion

Just recovered from a real "durr" moment over the FP. I read that Ports started off with huntings dogs and couldn't see why this would help - I thought it meant a war dog like Spain! But on trying the FP I was "wth where's my wardog" before I realised it was the market upgrade! N...

Re: what if...

I think this encourages a turtle economy as no one dare send out to exposed hunts/trees as they will be raided almost immediately. it may encourage more use of towers as a strategic point to protest resources though, whic is quite an underutilised option imo. Any FF or water boom will be spotted eve...
