Re: People calling you a noob even when your winning
I was called a "Hacker" the other day in a rant. Not sure why, I suspect it was because I played the Coyote stealth card and they didn't understand. Another time I got called a cheat, again, I suspect it was because I played the age 1 Aztec warchief card + aged with the WC poli and did a s...

Re: Try this
I was trying playing my low HC civs too. My PR went up! But my ELO went down. But I learnt alot.
Had fun with Spain. Best civ for FFing right? And Lancers with the attacking infantry upgrade were good. Lancers seem a real alternative to cannons. Won a few games with them.

Re: Dutch v Iroquois (Sun v Rum)
Yea, not only did I not want his WC to escape, I also wanted him to stay on the ground. So I had my settler stand on him.
You know, I think I gave that settler up for lost. Just occurred to me, I could have deleted a wall segment, left, and rebuilt it from the outside.

Re: Dutch v Iroquois (Sun v Rum)
I think you played better than me for a lot of that one Rum. Let's see: I forgot you need gold to build settlers as Dutch... then forgot you actually need to build a house to get past 10 settlers... had masses of idle villager time throughout game... managed to wall my own settler in when I was wall...

Re: Port FI vs Dutch on Texas
Tough one vs. Dutch in age 4. He had masses of Ryters didn't he! Interested in hearing how others would have dealt with this situation. Ports used to be my main civ, but, it's been such a long time since I played them I can't remember all the upgrades, etc. In that game, would probably have tried to...

Re: Huggy vs Caesár
p.s., reminds me of two occassions today: (I've started playing only as the civ where I've got the lowest HC level. So, I'm swapping back and forth between civs I don't normally play as - and not playing Aztecs). I was playing as Spain in one game, but, in my head I thought I was dutch, so, at start...

Re: Huggy vs Caesár
GG Huggy. Think you can be proud of that one. Watching the reply, I think you probably could have had Caesar with a more concerted pressure on his TC. It would have stopped him collecting that 1000 gld and being able to ship those Black Riders. It was one of those games where Caesar came back by out...

Re: 36Drew_vs_Da Evil D3ntist
That Brit turtle was painful to watch. You had 35 or something settlers in your TC for what seemed like a lifetime, yet your score was still over Lazy's. Mad. At the end Drew, when your TC went down, I was half expecting you to build a quick gate in your wall, run through it, and escape having all y...

Re: Frustrating French!
Hi Rum, Okay, some feedback for you... well done on winning by the way. Lots of little things, but, if you improve on each of those little things collectively it makes quite a big difference. (1) Make sure you herd your 2nd lot of hunt back to your TC. In that game, you exhausted your 1st hunt befor...

Re: Native Big Buttons
I struggle a bit with the Aztec Big Buttons. TC & Firepit ones aside (Jags & WC aura): (1) I find it quite difficult to manage an army the size hitting all the BBs produces. When I do engage my opponent, half of my army aren't actually engaging my opponents army but jossling to get near him....

Re: Russian Humilliation: Rambo strikes again
Iroquois WC in colonial with Town Destroyer does (I think) 322 seige damage.
That's equivalent to 6.7 Puma spearman. Pretty impressive.
