Re: Goals Thread
The problem with ports is simple: you start of with the same economy as others but no villager cards = you get behind rather quickly. The extra TC should compensate this, but to keep your economy going you have to invest even more resources in villagers, resources that you have less of than your opp...

Re: Goals Thread
I want to be a 1800 elo captain without laming. I was 1775 and almost captain with dutch in twc and the same with otto in vanilla (I choose otto as my first civ cause they ere easy when I was a noob, and ducth once twc got out, I was never laming on purpose). But if I could reach that goal with port...

Re: China needs to be nerfed
On topic, i think china needs: a nerf to disciplines (higher cost or lower stats) a nerf to porcelain tower: in age 2 getting 400 food and 4 villagers is. (Double or triple what other civs get- compare it with 2 cows for euro civs!)Giving just 200 food and 3/3.5 villager would still be very strong. ...

Re: Wacko updated his balance summary today
And for chinese, the handmortars should get a nerf, once they get ahaed in a game, it is so easy for them to dominate with 10 handmortars shelling your base and having a big army ready to counter verything you throw at them.

Re: Wacko updated his balance summary today
I agree to. Some changes just arent AOE. Maybe in some age of mythology expansion/remake. But BHG just crossed a line there, ES should have stopped them.

Re: amasing game :)
Most exciting game I played in the last six months was me Dutch (1st ltnt) against some portugese (captain) on yucatan. 50 minutes of non stop action. As soon as I get the map I am thinking, Portugese on water map with a good player, that’s a water boom. What can I do as dutch, he will probably own ...

Re: Why so down on Belgium?
They shouldnt have done that, I agree, but it was intended as sign to wallon politicians that femish demands are real and serious, not to be taken lightly. It didnt work. We will probably get some governement before year end, but what kind of governement. People that have been disagreeing over almos...

Re: Why so down on Belgium?
We are 165 days without governement over here in Belgium and counting. I think for people outside belgium it is very hard to understand how complex politics are over here. A short history lesson. Belgium is a country that was created by France and the UK to form a cushion betweem them and the emergi...
