Re: India: Fur Trade Fast Fortress

No recordings currently. I had experimented with this strategy against the computer several times before trying it out against human opponents. I have used it with mixed success in a few team games (the BO worked, but my ally sometimes didn't). This strategy is really meant to give you lots of flexi...

India: Fur Trade Fast Fortress

Greetings Gentlemen, I have been playing India almost exclusively since TAD premiered. I found them to be a fun and challenging civilization. Now that the patch has corrected some of their early flaws, they are a bit more competetive. Now I have read several India strategies over the last several mo...

Re: The BowRider! Your bestfriend as a sioux.

I used to play as sioux alot before TAD was released. The bowrider was very good against raiding cav (I always built some if playing against Russians or Germans), and good for raiding also. Coyotes make a good meat shield and did a good job against x-bows or skirms. I used to use the 4 grizzly bear ...

Re: Age Poll

The technology has really advanced. Pong, Attari, Radio Shack "Trash 80's", etc. was only about 25-30 years ago. I can still remember when a PC with 80 kilobits and a magnetic tape drive were considered "hot stuff". A few years ago my nephew (6 years old) was visiting. I got out ...

Re: Members' age

I know that I am one of the "elderly" players that is a member of the clan- 41 years old! If any of you wondered why I always pick orange as my civ color, it is so I can see my own units on the map! You don't need stealth units with me, just pick green on New England- I won't see you until...

Re: PATCH NOTES RELEASED!!!

I am interested to see how this will play out for India. The extra villager will help keep villager production going in discovery. While one less food crate will probably mean that India will age to colonial at about the same time as before (or a few seconds slower), but with a better economy going ...

Re: USA Election 2008 (Dangerous territory)

A nice civil discussion and some good points made. I think we can all agree that the "ideal" family for raising children would be a loving mother and father in a stable economic and social environment. However, I think that we all know that this ideal is very difficult to acheive and that ...

Re: USA Election 2008 (Dangerous territory)

Wow, very refreshing to find such dialogue on a game clan website! There have been many interesting topics raised, but I wanted to put-in a few comments to support KK regarding homosexuality in humans. There has been growing scientific evidence that homosexuality in mammals is triggered by a chemica...

Re: Death at Sea, Explorers/Monks/Warchiefs

A swimming, fighting explorer? Hmmm... wouldn't that be Aquaman?

Very funny about escaping the rush to an island. Same thing happened to me in a team game in which all three of us retreated to the island off Carolina. Got totally wiped out in the end, but a good laugh.

Re: Post Here To Join N3O

Thanks for the warm welcome. PR30 in beer drinking....hmm? I don't mind the occasional adult berverage, but I usually play AoE3 sobber. (Maybe that is my problem!) Big "Dr Who" fan from the old BBC show in the 1970's and 80's. Tom Baker was my favorite, of course. I have seen some of the n...

Re: Post Here To Join N3O

Hello, my name is Eric (ESO: DrWho42). I discovered your clan through the excellent work of Cyclohexane's AoE3 reference guides. I have read some of the material on your site and you seem a fine bunch of folks. I am a mature player; 41 years old, wife, 2 kids, fencing coach at the local university a...
