Problem with CD...

Ok, so my TAD CD has a small scratch running from the centre of the disk to the outside of the disk, on the underside. Occaisonally, the game will open and run just fine. However, more often than not a message will pop up saying something like "Application Error 500C" or something like tha...

Re: window key = game crash

Dude, whatever your technical problems don't abuse your keyboard... Anyway, your processor more than meets the requirements... I'm not sure what the problem could be. Perhaps you've added/removed any software? I had this problem before and I discovered it was because I had been adding and removing o...

Starting to play the Germans - Any tips?

Usually, I'm known to play the Dutch, Ottomans, British, and Spanish, but when I saw the VOD from Parfait and he played the germans, it made me realise that the Germans have a very good combination of units in colonial. 9 Xbows is a good shipment in itself, but when you combine Uhlans to that force,...

Re: hydrovert5 and me noob bashng when wrong

Yeah that was a hell of a game, I didn't try my best though, which came back and bit me on the ass.

But yeah after Joe left, I was left to fight both guys, and the fighting continued for another 5 mins, 2v1. GG guys. ;)

Re: OP VOD

Very intereresting.

It would be interested if we could apply this sort of micro in our games, too.

You never know, one of us could become Lieutenant General. :D

And playing basketball. ;)

Re: Dutch Rush

With Dutch, you're better off Fast-Fortressing.

That way, you'll have access to mostly auto-veteran units, all well as a few nifty mercenary shipments.

If you want the 4 Bank FF BO from me, hitch me on ESO.

Re: The OP Aztecs and how to lame them

ERKs aren't the only Aztec strength. Aztecs can have uber-walls (when?) they send the town dance card. Not too sure if you dance is available anyway but when the walls are affected by this, the walls have about 150k HP. That makes breaking through walls a bit of a task for your opponent. Wall-spam, ...

General Raiding Tips

Raiding is a vital part of strategy once you reach the higher levels of AoE3. Even from PR14+ you can expect to see raiding, so I'll add a few tips here, and if you feel the need to, add your own :D Food You can often tell where enemy settlers are gathering their food from by looking at the hunts ne...
