Re: The Pacific
I've been watching it. It's pretty good so far, and it will probably get better as the series moves on.

Re: SPORTS!
I used to box and play baseball. Now I just keep in shape by going to the gym every day. I still like watching baseball and American football. But I'm not what you'd call a "real sports fan."

Re: Possible wallenstein contract BO
It's great you tried it, Bart! Yukon is probably a good map for it with the TP and gold mines. I'll write more once I've watched. EDIT: I just finished watching. Well done! Once you added in falcs, your army was invincible. You mentioned that your shipments were a little slow in coming. In the futur...

Re: Wallenstein's Contracts
Wallenstein never applied to the saloon mercs. I doubt it does now, either! But Aaryn, 30 seconds for Jaegers is still pretty encouraging! @ Bart: I agree that you need a pretty passive opponent for this to work in a 1v1. But I think it would be pretty decent against boomy civs who don't put on much...

Wallenstein's Contracts
Now that I'm free to get on ESO once in a while again, I've naturally taken a big interest in 1.2's German changes. The biggest one, of course, is the Wallenstein's Contracts overhaul. For those who don't know, Wallenstein's Contracts is an option at the Advanced Church after you send the Treaty of ...
Awesome to hear! Hopefully Steve is on the mend too.
Indeed he is. Thanks for asking, Adam! And Aaryn, I'm thinking I'll be on at least a few times this weekend. ;) And I can still have 18 crossbows (or 8 xbow/10 pike) defending my base before 6:00 :-P I...

Strike Up the Band! The Kaiser is Coming Home!!
Well, after several months of extreme difficulty and worry, my clouds are starting to part. It looks like I will FINALLY have more uninterrupted time to hit ESO and play some clan games! It might take a couple more weeks before I can play with regularity. But I have reason to believe that my free-ti...

Re: Need some input on this thread please.
Awesome post, Lazy! You had me laughing and thinking all at the same time. It's too bad the Asians password-protect their games. But I must agree that it's all about language and culture. And as Lazy said, how can you communicate with a guy in China if you not only don't SPEAK Mandarin, but you cert...
