N3O FP AI Update Log
Here is a list so far of the N3O FP AI general improvement, starting from January 3rd, 2013 (I had done much before this time, working on it ever since the beginning of 2012 and late fall of 2011): Feel free to offer suggestions in what you would like to see for the future, and if you've been previo...

Re: AOE3 - Just 16 Cards tourney - anyone interested?
Most folks from my experience have time to play about two supremacy games, or one FFA game, or one NR game at a time. Thus it might not be attractive as a tournament, but rather hosting a game, "2v2 just 16 cards" would be intriguing. Anyways, I won't have time for the next weeks to play A...

Re: who's still active on aoe3?
I'm still around, but I'm off gaming for a few weeks; I have a lot a school, so maybe up to two months. However, that gives time for my newly found rank to decay (which is high because I won several games with a low home city), thus I can play again. To Jerom: Good your getting back at school. That'...

Re: AOE3 - Just 16 Cards tourney - anyone interested?
Sounds fun guys. I'm not posting any dates or things atm, but its easier just to meet online and try something like it for fun. Sure adds an element of strategy into the game, lol.

AOE3 - Just 16 Cards tourney - anyone interested?
Hey all, I thought of a funny idea. I wondered if, on TAD, anyone would be willing to join a 16-card tourney, that is, you play a civilization in TAD with just 16 cards, preferably 4 for each age (4 Discovery Age shipments, 4 Colonial Age shipments, 4 Fortress Age shipments, 4 Industrial Age Shipmen...

Re: New to AOE3
Yes, the expansions are very good. However, in the expansions, say in The Asian Dynasties, ranged infantry units such as Skirmishers, Cassadors, Longbowmen, etc., have 0.75x penalty against Cavalry units, with a 2.0x multiplier against Ranged Cavalry units - in short, 0.75 times 2.0 = 1.5x total aga...

More Screenshots of the AI card decks, most of the cards of which they will use once they are Level 25 and above (and often lvl 40 and above to get all the "favoured" cards).

Screenshots for N3O AI Card decks
Here are some screenshots of AI decks in the new version of the N3O FP 1.3 AI. The AI orders their cards according to age, strategy (whether they are booming), favours some cards over others, and ultimately seeks to have a strong, upgraded economy and strong, upgraded military (using cards and regul...

Portuguese Water Turtle: Recordings
Hey guys, I've done a couple fun recordings against various opponents, utilizing the ubiquitous Portuguese Water Turtle. Since it is unorthodox, it often steals victory. However, I admit it has great weakness to artillery and mortars. While I find it hard to beat the Germans with this strategy, it u...

Re: gud sioux n aztec treaty replays
Thanks! I may be a while before I can get it up, and may need to get my HCs up. BTW, Auracania is the best Sioux Map in the game. 6 Berry patches per player, 6 Trading posts to insure constant supply of wood, Mapuche or Incan Natives (Cheaper units with better Hand Infantry Siege attack or faster tr...

Ingenious way to construct walls
I just found an awesome way to build walls ingame to their maximum effect. I knew already about the connected walls taking damage from units at the same time, but I never thought of selecting all the walls and hitting shift-click to remove those unnecessary. StormTip - How to make pillarless walls T...

Re: gud sioux n aztec treaty replays
I will say one thing about Sioux.
No walls only matters against OP civs such as Russia and France.
Otherwise, unlike what people say, the Sioux are one of the best NR civs.
I can make a recording if you would like.

Indian Mahout FF
I've had this strategy for a while and have used it since TAD came out, and it works great in team games. I know I've used it numerous times in team games with you and enjoyed its success many times again. I miss those days of company with such distinguished people. Its greatest strength lies in the...
