Got home for work and saw that the new patch was out so I updated my unit chart.

Re: help with troubleshooting
I think I'm back in business! Yesterday was my first real effort to trouble shoot since I originally started having the problem. Turns out that an option in my Cisco VPN client had been turned on. "Stateful Firewall (Always On)" I must have accidentally turned that on way back in December ...

Re: help with troubleshooting
I believe I now know what my problem is. I just don't know how to fix it yet short of re-installing Windows. While talking with Mediacom tech support tonight with my main computer connecting directly to my cable modem, we discovered that my IP cannot be pinged. That most likely explains why ESO does...

You created two accounts. The one with the incorrect Birthday is khayos. The one you posted from above is khayosk.

Re: I sense a bug...
Not a bug. Just a bunch of people who didn't update their birthday in their profile after I added "My Birthday" to the profile. Can't help it if people don't follow instructions.

Nope that doesn't help. I'm unable to connect to any game right now.

fed up with Failed to Join
I have no idea what has changed but after having not played for a couple of weeks I'm suddenly receiving an endless number of "Failed to Join" messages. The last time this was any kind of a problem is when I broke down and bought a new router a couple months after aoe3 was released. I've g...

Re: "Tommies". where does the nickname come from?
I found this:
British soldiers have long been know as Tommies because when pay books were 1st issued in 1812 during the Peninsula campaign, soldiers were shown an example pay book in the name shown below:
Private Thomas (Tommy) Atkins of the Grenadiers. Hence a "tommy".
