Re: The Portuguese Colonial Bust- a Fanpatch 1.1 Strategy!

Hit your opponents base early, just don't expect to siege a TC.
Additional information - don't try it vs a port FF.
Or at least, don't try it vs a port FF when you're half asleep and don't get any food ;)

Re: Lamage or what?

Get over it? Perhaps a bit harsh cheesehat. The problem is one that should be adressed, people shouldn't have to avoid civs, that's the the main effort of the fan-patch team. I don't think it matters that there are even lamer strats, 40 cav taking up as much room as a house is insane, and not good i...

Re: what if...

I think it'd be fun Chaos, I really do.
Might have to try it some time - it'd mean players would generally have to boom to fortress where you have a nice crisp SKIRM/MUSK/CAV/CANON and then pick and choose to out-counter your opponents, also - preempting would be greatly rewarded!

Re: what version of AOE3(vanilla, TWC or TAD)did you enjoy m

I like Vanilla, but I was a bit too young and in tune with the complexities of the game to truly enjoy it, then when TWC brough Petards (IIRC) into the game I found it amazingly fun and I did quite a lot of Sioux/Iro play, with Chocosanta being my Aztec companion. I have had most fun raising myself ...

Re: Last movies you've seen

I also saw There Will Be Blood quite recently, it was absolutely great in my opinion.
Haven't seen Slumdog, I wanna see it because of the hype but I don't think I'll be too fussed.
