Re: your thoughts about early clocked banshees!

Good strat but once it gets scouted its GG (unless u aren't doing it the all-in way but that isnt quite as deadly and way easier to counter even if you didn't expect the banshees.)

Patch notes say that Thor no will attack ground units before medvacs and new game categories to filter Tower defense and tug wars.

Useless patch IMO :P
Scan = bb ghost, also any good player will have either spotted the ghost before he got close or move away slightly (nuke radius is so much lol...)

TankvTerran

How can people like TvT? The average terran tankspamming idiot is such an annoying enemy to play. Even with the nerf to the tank's damage it is still horribly strong against any ground unit, seeing how all units viable for taking out tanks are either armored (= steamrolled by tanks) or air (= steamr...

Re: Placement matches...

Initial placement seems to be fairly random up to a certain point but from what I can say and understand about the MMR system you will nearly always be put in one of the lower leagues when you qualify late compared to other teams/players. Official Blizzard FAQ that explains matchmaking and MMR (hidd...

Re: why tvt is ***

When ur enemy has air superiority (AKA massing up vikings, since u will be using medivacs as well as ur MM you will need more population) you can't really drop unless the map itself is very large, however, most maps are not.

Re: why tvt is ***

I completely agree, TvT nowadays (always has actually) revolves around tanks, any other unit is used as mere support for the tank and the ever on-going tankwar. It's come to a point now where 98% of the TvTs I play I am faced with opponents from 1k to 1800 score diamond and all of them seem to do th...

Re: The better game

I like both, some may find AOE to be more fun but definately not better. The game lacks a lot of things from which balance, civ diversity and action packed gameplay. Also I prefer this 3 race system (would be cool if they added more though) over the sh!tload-of-races-system AOE uses where the only d...

Noticed that too, before I wouldnt wanna go bio because all zerg would go ling/bling/muta in 3v3 but now I have to go bio because they're all massing up roaches  .

Re: versing mass thors with zerg

Divide et impera - Divide and conquer Either do not allow the Terran to mass up such amounts of thors or, when you know he's moving out, burrow some banelings/ultralisk in his path and split the army so you will hit more than only the outer layer. Still remaining with the issue that thors aren't eas...

Re: versing mass thors with zerg
It is indeed pretty hard to counter them. The best thing you can probably do is trying to stun at least some of the thors with infestors and get some nice Hydralisks in there. Make sure the thors can't make full use of the area damage.
Thor's normal at...

Re: TvZ - The other end of the story
What is this for a strange comparison Ultralisk-- tank? Before u can build Ultralisk u need the hive (Tier 3 hatchery) and build an ultralisk cavern. Also an Ultralisk costs 300/200 while the tank costs 150/125. So one Ultralisk costs also almost as much as 2...

Re: TvZ - The other end of the story

I lol'ed at this; 'Thors counter everything the Zerg have on the ground.', everything apart from hydralisk, zergling, roaches (as long as there aren't too many thors), ultralisk. Now not all of these are actually cost-effective, but given how the zerg currently evolve around expanding a lot and bein...
