I think the fan patch is needed in rush and mabey dm (idk cuz i play dm on vanilla) and the eso patch is needed in NR and scenarios. Each patch has its place in the community and you need to look at each players point of view.

You could go to vanilla and play vs majors lol. TAD ranking is worth more than vanilla ranking cuz people suck so bad on vanilla xD.

China is also one of the best NR civs due to there op livestock boom and trickles and 120 vills. They got nice walls and a very strong army. They are up there with france, japs, and russians.

120 vills + livestock boom with chian is OP. anyways just go pike xbow and micro... That may be ur issue because TR players cant generally micro that well.
