Re: What's your strength/weakness as a player?
Deacon.. I can tell you that I have the same funny fealing. I'm a competative person/player, and when it comes to laddering I put pressure on myself to perform the best that I can, but that can backfire. So I really know what you're saying (maybe even if we don...

Re: What's your strength/weakness as a player?

Strength: I have a pretty good mental checklist as far as macroing goes.

Weakness: I am oftentimes scared to ladder, despite constantly reasoning with myself and logically showing how silly it is to be so. Still can't help but feel that way, but it is getting slightly better.

Re: Favorite sc2 pros?

Zerg: Dimaga, IdrA, Mondragon after TSL's the other week; really excited to see him play this coming weekend.
Protoss: iNcontrol, mostly because of how incredibly GM he is.
Terran: TLO I suppose, he usually makes for entertaining games at the very least.

Re: The OFFICIAL SC 2 Brag Thread

Just broke into diamond myself after my last game. Drew, it will please you to know that it was not only ZvZ, but also on Steppes just like our game a few days ago. I used a lot of what I learned in the game against you to pummel the poor guy too; it was sort of eerie how similar the game was. Lucki...

Re: Patch Notes 1.1.0

As a zerg player here I am happy with this for the most part. Small steady changes are what we need, and I think that it is better to move closer to balance than just swing the pendulum over completely and have a civ of the month like in AoE3.

Re: 7% increased gathering rate

As awesome as this seems, I just can't be bothered to do this. Nice find though. 7% is actually quite significant for those who feel like putting the extra APM in.

Lol what a joke, the guy just can't handle the fact that he is awful and you wrecked him.

I liked that FE into gate unit spam you had going. Made me want to try toss. :D

Re: So apparently...
i think in this case 13 pool is the way to go (5 roach early push)
Probably true, if only because of how very tight the timings and resources are on this build. Occasionally even a bad spawn (North mineral patch) can throw you off by a few seconds.

Re: So apparently...

I can still hit the SCV's as they repair and they die very quickly. The marines take forever to kill a roach and losing 2 or 3 roaches while dropping the wall and killing off SCV's is worth it any time. As far as 13 or 14 pool, you would have to try. The timings are quite tight as you can see though...

Re: So apparently...

I have yet to play against a well-executed 1/1/1 from a T, but as I understand it, it is one of the best matchups possible for this build. Your first point is taken, however that I feel is one of the strengths of the build. Unless you are scouted, it is unlikely that your opponent will rush to stalk...

Re: So apparently...
the good thing about this roach push vs T is that you have something to fight off reapers, hellions and even few siege tanks. early game only the marauder counters the roach, but T players don't build many marauders because of all the lings so it is a decent...

Re: So apparently...

No problem. I have been winning lots with this in both matchups. The nice thing is that it can open up a wall like a Baneling bust but you usually still have roaches afterwards to do damage. Also, should you be unable to break in, you still have a solid economy to back off and power with. In other w...
