Re: Russian Record
I'm pretty good at keeping my explorer active, but if he dies I never know when/if it's worth ransoming him.

Re: OP VOD
I love how every thread on the N3O boards inevitably winds up spiralling off on some bizzare tangent. For my part, I think our speedometers should measure speed in furlongs per fortnight.

Re: OP VOD
Fascinating. It amazes me how little time expert players need to manage their economy & housing. After the initial minute or so, all you ever see of his TC are brief flashes for the rest of the game.

Well, if everyone wants to see the recording of him taking me out behind the woodshed, maybe I'll post it when I get home. But it's not pretty.

Re: Spain v France on Bayou
Yes, my rax location was my biggest problem, espeically since he beat me to colonial. Had we gone colonial at the same time, I think I would have been in better shape trading blows with him, since CDBs > Vills for TC defense. But, I made a handful of other mistakes as well . . .

Spain v France on Bayou
Okay, long post . . . any feedback is very appreciated.
Well, as you can probably guess from my sig, I don't have a lot of experience playing against others on ESO. I think my basic skills are getting decent, but I'm woefully ignorant of how to approach a given civ matchup/map combination ...

CDB gather bonus question
Okay, I looked real hard in Cyclo's guide to see if I could find the answer to this question, but I couldn't find anything definitive. The question is, is the 25% bonus for all gathering built-in to the CDB base gathering rates, or is it more like an invisible technology that stacks just like any ...

So I think the consensus is . . . that falconets are completely useless when left to their own, and when microing they should take priority over other units?

Re: My thoughts on the patch so far.
Soccerman,
The problem is that the cards are not 100% clear about what they do. Every building has a number of build points. For example, a fort has 150. In a medium game, 1 villiager completes one build point in 1 second. This means 1 villager builds 1 fort in 150 seconds.
