no you can't, the daimyo is a normal unit, not an animal or treasure guardian^^

In Age4 european explorers should be able to one shot Daimyos. I'm not 100% sure, though, because he can train units. Don't know if he has some special stats or anything.

I think the daimyo has the hero tag which means he cant be sniped (you cant snipe cannons and explorers either).

maybe emp him first and then use the snipe on the ghost?
