natives n euro[en settlers gather food fronm mill at 0.67 and from farm 0.5 , if v put natives settlers on farm , will they gather fast ?
i have seeen in team game people ask japanese players to make rice paddy for thm , they said they will gather faster from rice paddy ?,
 is it true ?
what is base rate of gathering from rice paddy ?
mills, farms , rice paddy n plantation upgrade affect buildings or settler ?,
is japanese rice paddy gather faster for european settlers, becoz of many paddy upgrade japan have or rice paddy from india or china will perform same for european settlers?

The gather rates of paddies are actually really different. On food its 0.5 food/second, on coin thats 0,34 coin/second or something, compared to a mill: 0.64/s and a plantation: 0.5/s. This however doesnt tell the entire story. When villagers are gathering from mills they move around and then bump into eachother. The moving and bumping around costs time so effectively its about 0.5 food/second on mills.

I do recall reading something about japanese cards that didnt improve the villagers, but improved the paddies themselves. I dont know how true this is and I cannot confirm this.

jerom remember that pay back of colleting the extra 800/400w  is not worth it.  its like 20mins or something.

I actually think if youd do the maths that mills plantations and rice paddies gahter almost exactly as fast. So rice paddies are better because they are cheaper and more versitile. Id suppose

H2O did. 7 vills on a mill is slightly faster, however that slightly is sooo slightly that it takes about 60 minutes before they pay off the costs of having to build additional mills. But if you for example want to put 32 on food, you can put like 8 on each mill for an optimal gathering rate (instead of 3 times 10 and on time 2).
