ok ok i did my first rated PvP , and got the persians as my opponent ....

needless to say , as the title suggests , i got stomped 

can anyone link me to a site where some egyptian vs. persian strats are? i need help!!!!

imo there are different possibilities

camel / slinger stay defensively and everytime he tries to attack send some camels (2/3) in his woodline or far hunt.

other possibility is trying to pull off a fast age, scout what he is making vs sparabara/bow go slinger + chariot archers and vs asabara/bow go camel/chariot archers. Micro like a king and u will come out on top.

Age2 his combo is defintely better, so try to reach age3 eventually where you go eles + chariot which destroys persia army.

if u ever end up in a bow + sparabara fight vs slingers + axeman, try to split your slingers in 2 groups and flank with some slingers his bows from the side. Slingers easily waster all their dps on the sparabara if u dont micro them.

What should one do as greeks vs persians? I went bow/spear and later changed to sass/bow against his cav/bow. I won a few battles but all he had to do was pull his archers back and micro a bit and my cav was gone and my archers were outnumbered (he lamed bows pretty hard)
