I'd like to hear some European opinions on Geordie Shore.  In North America we have an equivalent show called Jersey Shore. While I watch it for entertainment, the people on them are complete goons (unfortunately, we aren't talking 22 range dragoons either).  The result is that most North Americans despire the Jersey Shore crew, despite watching the show.

What do all the Euro folk think of the Geordie Shore crew?

i think nothing of it, there is alooooooooot of "social porn" on TV in germany, to the extent it gets gross.
also, i dislike the term reality show cause none of them show the reality, just what they wanna show, scripted events etc.

Some friends of mine used to watch Jersey Shore. From what I understood, it's just more tv-trash with random youths messing around :\

"social porn" is an awesome turn of a phrase there, Aaryn.  Although I haven't seen this (any version), and I'm not European, so I guess I can't add anything useful to this thread.  ;)

We have all kinds of that on our tvs at the moment we have, The Only Way is Essex, otherwise known as TOWIE, Geordie Shore, Jersey Shore, Made in chelsea, theyre all about 10x worse than other shows like XFactor and the ...Got Talent series'! This is why I have lost all faith in tv producers for axeing classics and bringing in toot!

The XFactor and Got Talent series are indeed extremely lame. I mean, the first 2 kind of editions were ok but nowdays there is a show like that going on at any given time.

In holland we have the voice of holland though which is rather unique: During the first round the judges cant see the singers and if they want to choose them they'll have to press a button and then they'll turn around and can see them. After that the participator chooses the judge that he wants to coach him (he can only choose out of the judges that turned around because they wanted to participator).

Its gonna come to other countries soon, im sure of it.

Already is, some more millions  for John de Mol. Don't like talent things, they are only famous for few months and disappear again

tbh i dont see the problem of these kind of shows. Its a good laugh most of the times. Amd if you dont like it, dont watch it  :D. There are plenty of other channels.
