quad core
« on: January 04, 2011, 15:21:03 »
Hey techies

I "bought" the new NFS Hot pursuit the other day and was disappointing it didnt run straight away. The game would simply crash on me.

After searching for a solution i found out that the game had this problem with all quad core processors. the solution was 2 make msconfig change my Nš of processors down from 4 to 2 through the advanced boot options. And voila this worked. Silly EA hasnt got a patch out 2 fix this problem but I could now run the game without a glitch.

so now that Im finished I want my frickin 4 cores back. But msonfig doesnt show me an option for selecting 1-4 cores, just 1-2!

thanks in advance!

NFS Shift doesn't work on Windows 7 x64, even though it came out long after.  NFS Hot Pursuit doesn't work on 4 core.  NFS Can suck my quad *****es.  Someone's not paying attention to technology in that company...
